Year 9 Options

We look forward to welcoming you and your son to the GCSE Options Evening on Wednesday 5th February 2025.  The evening will commence at 6pm with a presentation by Mr Rainey (Principal), Mrs Wheelan (Vice Principal) and Mrs Hill (Assistant Principal) and will be followed by 5 x 15-minute subject presentations.  A schedule of the evening is attached.  Please be aware that due to lettings parking will be busy and we recommend that you arrive earlier to allow for this.

Also attached is a GCSE Options Booklet which explains the choices available to your son.  We would ask you to discuss option choices with your son in the light of his own preferences and abilities. You may also wish to discuss his suitability for subjects with his teachers at the Year 9 Parents Evening which is taking place on 25th February. 

To select option choices please complete the online form using the link provided in the email to parents/carers on 03.02.2025.  The deadline to complete the online form is Monday 3rd March.
