80th Anniversary

St Ambrose College is delighted to announce the launch of our 80th Anniversary Celebration Ball, taking place on Saturday 20th March 2027 at The Midland Hotel, Manchester.

This landmark event will celebrate eight decades of excellence, community, and tradition since the College first opened its doors in 1946. The evening promises to be a memorable occasion for parents/carers, alumni, staff, governors, and friends of the College to come together and honour the last 80 years of St Ambrose College while looking ahead to an exciting future.

Guests will enjoy a drinks reception on arrival, a three-course meal, live music, DJ entertainment, a raffle, and auction, all hosted by renowned presenter Mike Toolan in the stunning surroundings of one of Manchester’s most iconic venues.

Early Bird tickets are priced at £80 per person and are only available during May 2026. From 1st June 2026, tickets will revert to the standard price of £95 per person.

Tickets will go on sale at 5pm on Tuesday 12th May. Please check the email to all parents/carers which will go out on 11th May with the dedicated payment link.

Guests are invited to choose either a table of 10 or 12 and proceed to checkout. At the point of booking, you will have the option to either pay in full or secure your table with a £20 per person deposit, followed by six monthly instalments.

We strongly recommend speaking with friends beforehand and agreeing who will be seated on your table prior to booking. In most cases, one lead person will organise and purchase the booking on behalf of the group.

A limited number of individual tickets will also be available for guests wishing to attend independently. Individual ticket holders will be allocated seats on shared tables with other guests. Where multiple individual tickets are purchased within the same basket, guests will be seated together.

Closer to the event, additional options will be added to the website allowing guests to pre-order drinks for their tables and purchase raffle tickets in advance.

We are proud to mark this significant milestone with what promises to be a fantastic evening of celebration and reunion for the whole St Ambrose community.
